Mike Spain Woodworks is a fine woodworking studio primarily focused on hobby woodworking but also accepting commissioned work occasionally.

The goal was to create a logo that told the story of woodworking without the aid of text. The saw blade transitioning into a cross section of a hard wood log does just that.

We also added detail while while remaining minimalistic in order for future reproduction such as embroidery for hats, per the client’s request.

Since this logo launched in 2018, many copies have surfaced online. Rest assured this is the original.
