Hello! I’m Mike, a graphic & web designer specializing in logos, brand identity and website design and development. Since I was a wee lad, I’ve been drawn to art in some fashion. It all started in kindergarten when I won 1st place in a county-wide Dippy Duck poster drawing competition. My artwork was displayed at the county fair that year, and from there I drew on everything (sorry Mom).

I took art courses throughout high school and went on to earn my bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts-Graphic Design from California State University, Fresno many moons ago.

I LOVE creating logos and building a cohesive identity that can be used throughout multiple platforms; that’s why I started BrandAlign Design™. BrandAlign Design™ operates out of the Central San Joaquin Valley in Central California. That’s smack-dab in the center of the state. Yeah, it gets hot here.

I am currently expanding my reach to include additional web design platforms and UX/UI app development. I enjoy freelancing because it allows me to work with a variety of people on different projects for different industries with different targets. Though I enjoy structure, sometimes it’s nice to work on your own schedule.

I’ve worked for a number of creative departments from higher education to healthcare manufacturing. I’ve been fortunate enough to experience a wide variety or workflows and processes, and I have taken bits and pieces from each opportunity. The creative industry is ever-changing, and with the recent introduction of A.I. in virtually every digital platform there is, this evolving will not slow down anytime soon. It is important that designers stay in touch with what is working in today’s world, and strive to stay up-to-speed with the technology.
